SACREBON
Sacrebon is a French band that seamlessly navigates the space between English and French lyrics, creating a sound that is both intimate and expansive. At the heart of the project is Alma Chomel, a French singer, voice-over artist, and translator based in Dijon, France. Alma is known for her crystalline vocal tone, versatile range, and multilingual abilities, qualities that lend the band’s music a distinctive emotional depth.
Drawing from her extensive experience in voice-over work through her studio, Voix Off Dijon, Alma brings a “storyteller” quality to Sacrebon’s music, which effortlessly blends indie-pop, folk, and collaborative electronic elements. In addition to crafting original songs, she has translated and recorded several works by songwriter Frank O’Dea, bridging linguistic and cultural boundaries while preserving the emotional resonance of the originals
Sacrebon’s music reflects Alma’s dual artistic life: one foot in the precision of voice-over artistry, the other in the expressive freedom of song. The result is a captivating bilingual experience that invites listeners into a world of lyrical nuance and sonic warmth.
